How do I log in using my mobile number?

Simply enter your registered mobile number on the login page, and you will receive an OTP (One-Time Password) via SMS/E-mail. Enter the OTP in the designated field to verify your identity and access your CIBIL account.

What is a registered mobile number or email ID?

Your registered mobile number is the 10-digit phone number you provided at time of creating your CIBIL account. Similarly, a registered email ID is the official email ID provided during the account creation or registration process. It is used to send OTPs (One-Time Passwords) and other account-related notifications.

What should I do if I don’t receive the OTP?

If you didn’t receive the OTP on your registered mobile number, try the following:
i. Ensure your mobile number is correct. Use the edit option to rectify the entry if required.
ii. Check your network connection.
iii. Wait a few minutes and click on “Resend OTP”

If you have requested for email OTP, try the following:
i. Check your network connection.
ii. Wait a few minutes and click on “Resend OTP”

Can I log in without an OTP?

Yes, you can still log in using your username or email provided at the time of creating your CIBIL account.

Is Mobile Number Login secure?

Yes, this is secure. The OTP sent to your mobile number ensures that only you can access your CIBIL account.

What happens if I enter the wrong OTP or username and password?

You are allowed 2 attempts to enter the correct OTP. For username and password verification, you have 3 attempts. If you exceed the allowed number of attempts, you will be asked for additional verification or in some cases may lead to your account being locked.

Can I change my registered mobile number or email ID?

If you lose access to your mobile number or email ID, contact our support team immediately to update your account information and regain access.

What should I do if my mobile number is not recognized, or I don’t remember it?

If your mobile number is not recognized, ensure that it is the one registered with your CIBIL account.

If you don’t remember the mobile number linked to your account, check your account settings by using alternate login option or any previous communication you’ve received from us.
